Tellus supports real-time translation between dozens of the world's most common languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, Korean, Italian, and many more – even less spoken languages get good translations. Our AI models are constantly being updated to expand language support and improve accuracy.
Our service uses state-of-the-art AI models to provide highly accurate translations suitable for most professional and personal conversations. The Pro plan utilizes our most advanced model for superior nuance and context handling. However, like all automated translation, it may not be perfect and is not recommended for legally binding or life-critical situations.
The Tellus Chrome Extension is designed to work with any audio source playing in your Chrome browser, including popular platforms like YouTube, Zoom, Google Meet, online courses, and more. If you can hear the audio in your browser, Tellus should be able to translate it.
You can change your plan at any time by navigating to the "Billing & Plan" tab. From there, you can select a new plan to upgrade or downgrade to.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the "Billing & Plan" tab. Your plan benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Usage is calculated based on the total duration of audio that is processed for translation. You can monitor your current cycle's usage in near real-time from the "Usage" tab.
If you reach your monthly usage limit, the translation service will be temporarily paused until your next billing cycle begins. Your usage resets to zero on the same day each month. If you consistently need more time, you can upgrade to a higher plan at any point from the "Billing & Plan" tab.
No, unused hours do not roll over. Each subscription plan includes a set number of translation hours per monthly billing cycle. This model allows us to offer the service at a predictable, low price. Your usage quota resets to its full amount at the start of every billing cycle.
We do not offer refunds for monthly subscription payments. When you cancel a subscription, your plan remains active with its full benefits until the end of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged for the next cycle.
Absolutely. We use Stripe, a global leader in online payments, to process all transactions. Your credit card information is sent directly to Stripe's secure servers and never touches our own. We do not store your full payment details.
Your privacy is our top priority. Audio is streamed to our AI provider for the sole purpose of generating a real-time translation. We do not record or store the contents of your audio or the resulting translations on our servers after the session ends. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.
You can permanently delete your account from the "Profile" tab in your dashboard. Please be aware that this action is irreversible and will erase all of your account data.
Important: For your security, you must first cancel any active subscription on the "Billing & Plan" tab before you can delete your account. This ensures you are not billed for a service you can no longer access.
After deletion, we retain an anonymized, non-identifiable record of your email for 30 days solely for fraud prevention, after which it is also permanently erased. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
